crow
I made this small accordion book about 15 years ago but it has recently been read from (and described in words) on BBC Radio 4’s Short Cuts in the episode “Crow” featuring Christina McLeish, so I have put up some images.
I wrote it while living in a tiny cabin in Cornwall. The back window looked out onto a golf course and I spent a lot of time observing the crows that frequented it.
This book was made in a small edition of which there are now none remaining.
However, if you like crows, please have a look at some of the other crow content on this website, which I hope you’ll enjoy. I also put up crow pictures on my Twitter feed at @hawkerspot. And I am planning to make some more crow-related books in the future (because crows really are the best, aren’t they?)
